Over 20. no runs. Bowler: Hayley Matthews. Gujarat Giants: 166/10(rr 8.30)
19.2Matthews to M SinghW
Wicket. OUT! Caught. Hayley Matthews to Meghna Singh. Off break length ball, down leg side down the track Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, caught by Sciver-Brunt. That's it. It was a comprehensive victory for Mumbai Indians Women, who triumph by 47 runs and set up a final against Delhi Capitals Women on Saturday. Chasing the huge target, Beth Mooney fell in the first over and captain Ash Gardner was also dismissed cheaply as Gurjarat Giants lost three inside the powerplay. Hayley Matthews followed her half century with three wickets whilst Melie Kerr claimed two as none of the Giants batters could make the major contribution, three run-outs also not helping their cause as the ever increasing required rate proved a task too far and they bow out of the tournament. Hayley Matthews delivered a stellar performance, excelling in all three departments and earning the title of Player of the Match.
