Being in trouble early in their batting innings, a steady but much needed 80 runs from Anika Learoyd along with contributions from Moore (33 off 60) and Johnson (16* off 14) guided them to a modest 215 total. Grace Parsons bowled exceptionally well finishing with figures of 3/29 off her 10 overs. In the chase, Queensland got off to a rocky start also losing early wickets but a 106 run 3rd-wicket partnership between Ginger & Redmayne got Queensland back in the fight. However, after the 3rd wicket fell, the Queenslanders lost the remaining wickets for 59 runs to be all out for 194. All of the Breakers bowlers chipped in with 4 of them taking 2 wickets each. Player of the Match went to Anika Learoyd for her 80 runs in the 1st innings.
